  • The Change of Cloths, Preparing us for walking in LEADERSHIP.

This is a follow up from: Preparing For Leadership | LinkedIn (1) Preparing For Leadership | LinkedIn I invite you to read part one, before reading this. In the first part I speak about preparing of becoming a leader: I learned that G-d gave Joseph dreams. Joseph believed them. But G-d first prepared him, before he received the blessings 1. PIT = Prophet or People In Training 2. Prison = Learning to serve, in the worst circumstances. 3. Palace = Your task, your position. In this second part, the mantles are our goal. Bereshis 41:14 Then Pharaoh sent and summoned Yosef, and they brought him hastily out of the bor (dungeon); and he shaved, and changed his clothes, and came in unto Pharaoh. So, Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon. When he had shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh. There are studies where you can read about several mantles representing the different situations Joseph went through, before he became in charge of the palace and Egypt. I will mention the first and the final mantle. THE FIRST MANTLE WAS THE COAT OF MANY COLORS In the Torah we can read about Yaakov, who loved his son Joseph more than all his other sons and made him 'a ketonet passim'. Or “coat of many colors.” The coat of many colors[a] is the usual English translation of the Hebrew term ketonet passim (כְּתֹנֶת פַּסִּים), an item of clothing given to Joseph, the son of Jacob in the Hebrew Bible 's Book of Genesis, as a symbol of his love. [1] Joseph's father crafted the mantle for him. The coat of many colors represents the different situations, and stadia's he needed to go through, before he could step into the position, G-d had in store for him. This mantle caused the separation between his father and brothers and Joseph. "The preparation is a time of loneliness and separation." Loneliness is a powerful and pervasive theme in literature that explores the human condition. Here are some common themes related to loneliness found in literary works: Isolation : Characters often experience physical or emotional isolation from society, family, or friends. This can be due to various reasons such as social status, mental health, or personal circumstances. Alienation : A feeling of being disconnected or estranged from the world around them. Characters may struggle with a sense of not belonging or feeling misunderstood. Solitude : Sometimes, characters choose solitude as a means of self-discovery or personal growth. This theme explores the difference between chosen solitude and enforced loneliness. Longing for Connection : Characters often yearn for meaningful relationships and connections with others. This theme highlights the human need for companionship and the pain of its absence. Loss and Grief : The loss of a loved one can lead to profound loneliness and grief. Literature often explores how characters cope with and process their loss. Existential Loneliness : This theme delves into the philosophical aspects of loneliness, where characters grapple with the meaning of life and their place in the universe. Unrequited Love : Characters may experience loneliness due to unreciprocated romantic feelings, leading to emotional suffering and a sense of isolation. Cultural or Social Barriers : Characters may face loneliness due to cultural, racial, or social barriers that prevent them from forming connections with others. Mental Health : Loneliness is often linked to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Literature can explore how these conditions contribute to feelings of isolation. Redemption and Healing : Some literary works focus on characters finding redemption and healing from loneliness through personal growth, forgiveness, or new relationships. These themes reflect the complexity of loneliness and its impact on the human experience The Coat Of many Colors The mantles Joseph wore were given by G-d, who was also the Creator of the entire plan. The mantle Joseph received when he represented Pharao was the mantle of Leadership. Representing Leadership, Wisdom, Authority, Royalty. Genesis 41:37-41 37 The plan seemed good to Pharaoh and to all his officials. 38 So Pharaoh asked them, “Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the spirit of God[a]?” 39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you. 40 You shall be in charge of my palace, and all my people are to submit to your orders. Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.” Joseph in Charge of Egypt and Finally, his name also changed. 45 Then Pharaoh gave Joseph a new Egyptian name, Zaphenath-paneah. Our Jewish legends say each letter of Joseph’s Egyptian name means something. Linking them all together, the name is  “Seer – redeemer – prophet – supporter – interpreter of dreams – clever – discreet – wise.” Before we can walk in the authority of G-d Himself, we need to be at the end of ourselves! Flesh cannot stand in HIS Ruach Ha'Kodesh                                               HIS HOLY BREATH! That's why, our roads are different. The deeper the P.I.T (Prophet Or people In Training) the higher the calling! Our beard must be shaved. The beard represents the authority.
