In today's recruitment landscape, it's easy to feel like just another number. Algorithms, KPIs, and conversion rates dominate the conversation, while the essence of what makes each person unique is often lost in translation. I recently gave a recruiter free rein to polish my LinkedIn profile. What came back was sleek, professionalโand completely unrecognizable

It took me hours that evening and well into the next morning to restore what mattered most: me. My voice. My vision. My way of working. ๐
Recruitment should never be a mechanical transaction. Itโs a human process. A person helping another person grow, thrive, and find purpose. When targets and tools become more important than the individual seeking a job, we drift dangerously far from the original simplicity: that one human being needs another to flourish.
There must be a balance. Yes, results matter. But they should follow the bloom of the personโnot precede it. When we prioritize authenticity, empathy, and connection, the numbers will take care of themselves.
